WHAT'S INVOLVED IN BOOTCAMP? All you need to bring is a willingness to give it a go—we welcome all ages and fitness levels! You'll train in a small group of up to 4 people, working through a variety of exercises with fresh routines each week. There's no competition—just you, moving at your own pace, with our support and motivation to help you become the best version of yourself.
HOW DO I MAKE BOOKINGS? Bootcamps fill up quickly! If you’re interested in the dates listed on the homepage, please send me an email using the link at the bottom of the page to register your interest. Priority is given to those who have completed the previous term before new members are accepted. Please take a moment to read through all the information on this page—especially the cancellation policy below.
CAN ATTEND A BOOTCAMP SESSION IF I HAVE AN INJURY? This depends on what injury you have and stage of rehabilitation. Generally you want to seek medical advice and clearance before exercising. Please discuss this with me before booking.
DO YOU ASSIST WITH NUTRITION? Unfortunately there is not enough time to assist with this in this class. However you are welcome to sign up to the ONLINE + NUTRITION service I offer, see the tab above to find out more.
HOW MANY SESSIONS IS THE BOOTCAMP A WEEK? This is one session a week, however if you miss a class as you are away, if a gap appears in the other time slot you are welcome to move into it. Or you may wish to add a Private Personal Training Session or a Reformer Pilates class. These cannot be paid with the bootcamp credit.
WHAT DO I NEED TO WEAR & BRING? Please arrive at the studio wearing comfortable workout clothing that allows you to move freely. For hygiene reasons, the following items are essential: A sweat towel A water bottle Clean sneakers (no mud or grass, please) We also recommend having a light meal or snack beforehand—exercising on an empty stomach can cause blood sugar levels to drop quickly, leaving you feeling faint. All other equipment is provided in the studio, and we have a bathroom available for your convenience.
WHAT ARE YOUR OPENING HOURS? Bootcamps take place Monday to Thursday, while our Pilates Reformer studio operates 7 days a week. We may run a January bootcamp, depending on interest. The Pilates Studio will remain open in January, except for a short break between Christmas and New Year to allow everyone a chance to recharge.
WHAT DO YOU CHARGE? With only 4 participants in Bootcamp sessions $28 per session, and can be either paid on a payment plan or in a block.
WHAT IF I CAN'T MAKE IT GET SICK, OR GET COVID? Since this is a block course, cancelled sessions cannot be postponed. However, you’re welcome to make up missed sessions in other available time slots—these are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. We also have a group messenger page to keep everyone connected and informed. If you contract COVID or the flu and can provide confirmation, I’m happy to refund up to two classes.
HOW DO I CANCEL A SESSION? Communicate via the messenger group page or via text. If you find that the Bootcamp you've booked is not for you, please note there is no refund.
I'M PREGNANT CAN I STILL ATTEND SESSIONS? You sure can. I have worked with Midwives in the past during clients pregnancy and postnatal if returning soon after birth. This is to keep you supported and safe as the body changes.  It is important to remain active during pregnancy. However if during the Bootcamp you decide the pregnancy is making it too difficult, I will offer a credit to your account to access in the future for the remaining classes. ​
WHEN CAN I GET BACK INTO SESSIONS POST BABY? I ask that you wait until at least 6 weeks after you have given birth. If you want to come back earlier, I request clearance from your medical practitioner. If you birthed via C-section a 12 week wait is required.  I trained to work alongside Physiotherapists and Obstetricians if there are any post-natal issues. ​
PRE/POST NATAL - CAN I BRING MY BABY? Feel free to ask—sometimes it’s possible, sometimes not. Over the years, I’ve had clients bring their babies along who’ve now grown into teenagers while training with me!

Tracey Tordoff, principal of TORQUE FITNESS NZ is a qualified personal trainer, reformer instructor however she is not a registered nutritionist or neither a medical practitioner, and does not hold out herself or any other person participating in TORQUE FITNESS NZ to have qualifications in any of these areas.  While some general guidance or discussion may from time to time be provided within TORQUE FITNESS NZ forums on topics touching on these areas, you accept that Tracey Tordoff, TORQUE FITNESS NZ employees, contractors and other members are not purporting to provide professional services or advice in any of these areas. TORQUE FITNESS NZ does not purport to endorse the comments or advice of other members or its accuracy or completeness. Professional advice should be sought where necessary, in particular if you have special dietary needs, physical disabilities or health conditions. b. The fitness workouts/classes provided by TORQUE FITNESS NZ follow a variety of formats. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have a sufficient degree of fitness and physical capability to participate in this exercise format, and/or to seek professional advice from a medical professional if you are unsure. c. If you are pregnant or at postpartum stage you are participating in TORQUE FITNESS NZ fitness workouts/classes at your own risk. It is recommended that such attendee’s should seek professional medical advice and exercise clearance before participating in TORQUE FITNESS NZ workouts / classes, including pregnancy specific fitness workouts / classes. While some general guidance or discussion may be provided in pregnancy workouts/classes, you accept that Tracey Tordoff, TORQUE FITNESS NZ employees or contractors, and other members are not purporting to provide professional services or advice in any of these areas. TORQUE FITNESS NZ does not purport to endorse the comments or advice of other members or its accuracy or completeness. Professional advice should be sought where necessary, particularly if you are pregnant or postpartum. d. TORQUE FITNESS NZ does not provide any warranties or guarantees as to any specific result from participation in the workout/class sessions. e. I acknowledge and agree that Torque Fitness NZ classes are physical activity - they are strenuous and there is a risk of injury including, but not limited to stretches, lifts, use of props, use of reformer machines, gymnastic movements, strenuous bodyweight exercises and other strenuous activities that I am not obliged to perform, nor am I obliged to participate in any activity that I do not wish to do, and that it is my right to refuse such participation at any time during classes. I understand that there are inherent risks in all aspects of physical exercise and I acknowledge that I have been informed of the possible strenuous nature of training. I agree that prior to my participation I will inform Torque Fitness NZ of any known medical conditions or factors that may place me at risk. Torque Fitness NZ may request a medical release from my medical practitioner prior to participation. I will inform Torque Fitness NZ of any symptoms before, during and after participation in a class/session. I have been made aware of Torque Fitness NZ Health & Safety policy and will follow all instruction to ensure my safety & the safety of others in the Studio. f. TORQUE FITNESS NZ shall not be legally responsible for or bear any legal liability for any harm or injury suffered by any participant as a result of their participation in TORQUE FITNESS NZ fitness workouts/classes, and shall not accept any claim for compensation or reimbursement of medical costs associated with this. g. To the extent any other legal claim is otherwise permitted by law and is established against us, our total liability in respect of all claims in connection with any services provided by TORQUE FITNESS NZ shall be limited to the total sum of any membership/casual fees paid by you that relate to the cause of action established. h. I understand that from time to time, Torque Fitness NZ and/or its employees or contractors may film or photograph the classes, activities or services provided by Torque Fitness NZ. By signing the waiver, I permit Torque Fitness NZ to use, publish, reproduce, distribute, create derivative works of, perform, display and/or otherwise use my name, image, voice and likeness, either complete or in part, alone or in conjunction with any wording, for uses including publicity and/or merchandising and/or editorial purposes in any country in connection with any part of the business of Torque Fitness NZ in any manner and in all forms of media whether now existing or developed in the future. I hereby waive any right to inspect and approve the photographs or videos or the printed/digital/electronic matter that may be used in conjunction with them now or in the future, regardless of whether that use is known or unknown.
