Please review the cancellation clauses before booking multiple sessions.

WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW FOR MY FIRST TIME EVER CLASS? If this is your first time to Reformer Pilates then you MUST COMPLETE AN INDUCTION CLASS or a 1:1 Private session, these are highlighted on the booking link. During the booking process please complete the health & wellness questioner which helps me understand any reasons why some exercises maybe difficult.

WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW IF I'VE BEEN TO REFORMER PILATES BEFORE? If you’ve attended Reformer Pilates classes before you DO NOT need to do an induction class. If you wish to see what my classes are like your welcome to purchase the TRY ME PACK on the website then choose 2 OPEN or PILATES PRINCIPLES classes.   During booking please complete the health & wellness questioner to help me understand your requirements. If your uncertain of the level to start out, please email or message me and we can work out where to start you off.

Enthusiasm, Water, Grip socks if you have them (can be purchased online and collected in the studio) or bare feet is fine too and a towel for any sweat. Please also don't come on an empty stomach, Blood sugars drop too fast and you quickly start to feel faint! We have all the other equipment you might need in studio, plus a bathroom. NOTE WE ALWAYS start on time (the studio opens 5 minutes prior to your start time for you to get your drink, towel etc organised). If you are late you will be expected to join in with the class & will not have any warm up time. The classes also finish as per the timetable to enable cleaning prior to the next class.  I ask politely that you vacate the studio at the end of the session promptly.  If you wish to talk to me please arrange a seperate time, I'm always happy to make time!

WHAT DO I NEED TO WEAR? Come to the studio wearing comfortable clothing that you can freely workout in. Plus Grip socks (which can be purchased online) or clean bare feet.

HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE THERE IN A CLASS? My Reformer classes are small and there are up to 4 people per class.

WHAT ARE YOUR OPENING HOURS? I am open Monday – Thursday from 6am - 7pm. Wednesday I have an induction class at 7pm PLUS FRIDAYS AT 7AM SATURDAY 8AM & 9AM CLASS TOO The studio will close on Public Holidays and for a period at Christmas time to enable a recharge by all.

WHAT FACILITIES DO YOU HAVE? I have a toilet & shower at the studio for your use. Parking is available outside the studio for 4 vehicles only between 8am - 5pm outside these hours due to council requirements you must park on the roadside.

HOW MANY REFORM CLASSES SHOULD I BE DOING A WEEK? This depends on your fitness goals, what fitness level you are, how fast your body adapts and recovers from a class. I recommend attending no more than 2 classes a week for the first few weeks, and increase it from there. 3-4 classes per week will enable you to see the best results.  You may also consider a Personal Training or Bootcamp session to mix it up?

WHEN CAN I MOVE UP TO AN OPEN CLASS? This will depend on your level of fitness & ability achieve the exercises safely and with great technique. The OPEN classes have more difficult spring tensions, progresssions of exercises along with changes to routines moving more quickly. If you feel like you need an extra challenge then stepping up to the OPEN class is the next step.  It is best if you can ask me if you’re ready to go up to the next level.

CAN I DO REFORMER PILATES IF I HAVE AN INJURY? This depends on what injury you have and stage of rehabilitation. Generally you want to seek medical advice and clearance before exercising with me. Starting with a Private 1:1 session is recommended when recovering from injury. I can then assess if you will be ready for the class environment and provide adaptations to exercises if required.  If you do have an injury, or are recovering from one, it is a priority to speak to me prior to your class. I do have a rehabilitation class but again a discussion is important before returning.

HOW MANY TIMES CAN I USE THE INTRO OFFERS? Just once, that’s why its an TRY ME PACK FOR 2 classes for $30 have a 2 week expiry which is activated from the date of your first booking.

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY? I have a 12 hour cancellation policy.  If you can’t make a class, it is your responsibility to cancel 12hrs prior to your class & then your class will be automatically credited onto your account.  If you cancel within the 12 hours or no show you will be charged for this class. I will credit classes if you explain you were unwell as you are best to stay home. This is for clients only, it does not include family members. Please take note of the purchase expiry note below. If your attending a 6am class & your unwell, please send me a text anytime during the night using the number at the bottom of the page. With all packages there are expiry dates and unused classes will expire, most have an extra week to use up those extra credits or you can use the expired credit option as explained in the FAQ Question below. I apologise but we need to be strict and fair to all clients (and ourselves) to run a viable business.

WHAT IF MY CLASS IS CANCELLED? Classes taught by Tracey will go ahead with 1 client however you could be asked if another class suits to increase the class numbers. If a class is taught by another instructor the class will only go ahead if 2 or more clients are attending. Watch your inbox up to 1 hour prior to a class if numbers are low for cancellation email. Or if the class is at 6am or 7am the decision to cancel will occur at 9pm the night prior. A credit will be issued in this instance. A class may also be cancelled due to Instructor illness or an event beyond my control and you will be credited for this class, this is also a rare occurrence.

DO YOU HAVE WAITLISTS FOR CLASSES? Yes I do. Click on the class you would like to book, then add yourself to the waitlist. You will be notified via email up to 1 hour before if space becomes available in that class. You are not charged whilst sitting on the waitlist list. Please remember to cancel your waitlist if you have a change of plans as you will be charged if you make it into a class. More often than not, you’ll get lucky so use the waitlist.

I'M PREGNANT CAN I STILL ATTEND SESSIONS? You sure can.  I have worked with Midwives in the past during clients pregnancy and postnatal if returning soon after birth.  This is to keep you supported and safe as the body changes.  It is important to remain active during pregnancy. The first trimester is a certainly can attend, however it is an individual discussion with your Instructor to continue further. However If for any reason you cannot continue and have credits still to use the expiry date of your credits is extended out to 1 year from the date your baby is born.  This gives you the freedom to take your time.  Along with I really hope you'll return to Pilates Reformer one day.

WHEN CAN I GET BACK INTO CLASSES POST BABY? I ask that you wait until at least 6 weeks after you have given birth.  If you want to come back earlier, I request clearance from your medical practitioner.  If you birthed via C-section a 12 week wait is required.   I am trained to work alongside Physiotherapists and Obstetricians if there are any post-natal issues.

PRE/POST NATAL - CAN I BRING MY BABY?  Please ask? It is dependant on the class.  I've had some clients bring their babies who've grown into teenagers over the years they have been seeing me.
