more DETAIL

The course introduces you to the Pilates Reformer machine and helps you understand its key components. The Torque Fitness NZ manual is your primary reference to support your instructing, but we also incorporate technology to enhance your learning experience.

By the end of the four-day course, you will have had the opportunity not only to learn but to consolidate your knowledge through dedicated studio practice sessions.

You’ll study basic anatomy to deepen your understanding of technique, breathing, and progressions. We’ll also cover session planning, different client needs, and how to operate within professional parameters to ensure we deliver the highest standard of care to every client.

As mentioned earlier, this course is accredited by REPs (Register of Exercise Professionals NZ) and qualifies for REPs CPD points. This gives you the advantage of holding a globally recognised Reformer Pilates qualification—ideal if you plan to work internationally.

Pilates Aotearoa is a new organisation created specifically for the Pilates profession in New Zealand. They are currently developing their accreditation framework, and we will endeavour to align with their standards in the near future.

No prior Reformer experience is required to enrol in this course.
