YOU WERE BORN TO BE REAL NOT PERFECT!

šš»Iāve written this many times, but again over the Easter break I considered that if we are all eating so well why is our populationās girth growing?
šš¼āāļøWhy are so many suffering from DIABETES, HEART DISEASE, HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE & CHOLESTEROL.
šš¼āāļøIf we know what we should be eating - then why arenāt we eating it?
šš¼āāļøA friend brought a lovely salad to dinner & I enjoyed it & thought Iād make it until I realised it had lots of honey PLUS brown sugar in it.
š³Was the sugar necessary?
š³Have we got use to everything containing sugar - so that unless itās sweet we dont eat it?
šIām often the other way, as I donāt eat a lot of sweet, I therefore find some foods overly sweet?
š³I canāt remember the last time I drank some lemonade or coke, but I know when I did, I felt like I was drinking pure sugar concentrate!
šš»If you know what foods you should predominately eat - Are you eating them?
šš»If not - why not? As to cook some chicken, or an egg or throw together is salad is not time consuming?
šWhy are we increasing our girth & thus buying the next size up and then the next not given more consideration?
šš»I know HABIT plays a huge role in making a change. We can all build a habit of a way of eating.
šš»BUT we should know we can all change a HABIT - it only takes some focus and effort!
If you donāt know what you should be eating then ask yourself these questions:
-āDoes what Iām eating contain ingredients I dont understand?
- āDoes what Iām eating come from Nature?
- āAre the foods Iām eating contain vitamins, minerals and offer nutrients to my body?
- āIs the drink Iām having contain sugar?
šš»Eat whole foods, with as little human intervention as possible, but keep it REAL & occasionally & thats the key word occasionally enjoy some not PERFECT foods, but if the balance is more of the foods with ingredients then the balance / habit needs to change!
šš»Have a sort out this long weekend of the pantry & fridge. Make this weekend the weekend you head to be HEALTHIER.
