SPRING IS COMING ARE YOU READY?

Wow the countdown is on! I also mentioned the quote ‘IF IT’S IMPORTANT TO YOU, YOU’LL FIND A WAY.  IF IT’S NOT YOU’LL FIND AN EXCUSE!’


🌸With Spring heading our way are we finding an excuse or are we getting our WINTER FITNESS COMPLETED & also watching the more stodgy foods which can creep in when we are cold?  


🌸With the weeks counting down are we ticking these boxes now!  We can come up with reasons NOT TO but we are better to consider how IMPORTANT it is to be fit & healthy!


🍷Alcohol reduction is part of a healthier you & with Dry (ish) July as our challenge we discussed the Healthy Food Guide comparison to bread & alcohol.  See the picture below.  


🍷3 glasses of wine is equivalent to 6.7 slices of bread.  And thus it’s easy to see how the extra calories add up!

🍷We also discussed Dr Libby’s article on the effects on our body of alcohol, where the body must excrete it first as it see’s it as a poison & this then delays other processes in the body such as removing excess oestrogen.  Have you considered how the alcohol you drink affects your health.

👍🏻School Holidays are over & for some this is a time to put their fitness at the forefront again.  But whatever the reason you haven’t been getting in some fitness consider that SPRING is on it’s way & START NOW!


🥶If it’s too wet, too cold outside then consider someone like me!  As I can help with not only fitness but nutrition too as that often needs adjusting.  Enjoy the weekend.  Plan ahead both fitness & food choices this is the KEY!
