PERFECT BODIES OR HEALTHY BODIES?

🧐Perfection is attainable to those who photo shop their photos!

🧐Don’t imperfections make us real people?

🧐Being healthy is what we should be striving for!

🧐Being Strong / Fit / Energetic /Happy are more important goals?

🧐We all know more than we think about being healthy? Just make sure your information is from a reputable source!

ā“Are we living the life we know would bring us good health or just doing the diet thing for short term gain?

ā“Think about what healthy means & then make your life reflect this - that’s the path to good health & often to a better body inside and out!


ā“Think about the nutritional value of your food & drink choices? What nutrients do you get from what you eat?


😔If you're overloading your body with foods of low or no nutritional value then what energy levels are you expecting from your body? Why are you surprised when you feel lethargic!


šŸ‘šŸ»Here are some boxes that need ticking:

ā˜‘ļøeat a balanced diet (protein; meats, eggs, etc carbohydrates (not sugar/starchy laden ones),

ā˜‘ļøhealthy fats; avocado nuts etc

ā˜‘ļøhydrate with water

ā˜‘ļødon’t upsize your meals

ā˜‘ļøget active and stay active

ā˜‘ļøDon’t weigh yourself every day! but consider your body fat vs muscle

ā˜‘ļøget enough sleep (everyone is different)

ā˜‘ļøfind healthy ways to reduce stress (exercise is excellent for this)

ā˜‘ļømake ME time (what do you love to do & do it often šŸ’—)

ā˜‘ļøspend time with friends & family making memories

ā˜‘ļøhave regular check ups and don’t delay a doctors visit for šŸ™šŸ»smears/prostrate/mammogram/bowel/eyes/dentist/cholesterol/bloods

ā˜‘ļøsmile & laugh & remember some things in life are free to enjoy! ā¤ļø


šŸ’›I discussed the medical checks above in the gym this week, it’s a good time to book some of these into your year, which is what I’ve done.


šŸ’›Preventative medicine with checks & many of the above list of ideals ticked off is the best way to enjoy a long life!


šŸ’›I did enjoy the SARDINES this week as part of the try something NEW & I had them on some toast, you may have seen my post! I then finished off the tin the next night!! šŸ˜‹ yum!


šŸHave a great week & I hope you try to make some of the above happen in May! It maybe getting cooler but nothing a jacket, some gloves & a hat won’t fix.
